Upgrade your creativity
How to improve your creativity?
What websites to use to learn something new?
Here you’ll find three useful sources for upgrading your creative skills!
To stay up to date it is really important to read blogs and magazines about trends design, to read books, to visit museums, exhibitions, and fairs.
But in this article, I wanna share with you the main online platforms I work with to learn new skills (or to improve some I already have)!
Here are the best online platforms I use:
1. SKILLSHARE
SKILLSHARE is absolute number 1 in my List!
It’s not just the perfect platform to learn everything about Creativity, starting with graphic design and illustration, ending with photography and writing, Skillshare offers also a large amount of information about accounting, marketing, freelance, product managing and development, some lifestyle issues like culinary as well!
Skillshare membership costs only $99 a year and it totally worth it!
But if you don’t want to spend any money, SKILLSHARE has also some free courses – definitely check this out!
I use it to learn everything about Adobe Programs, graphic design, photography, creating patterns, vectorize images, and much more.
2. YOUTUBE
Yeah! Everyone knows YouTube! It’s a storehouse of valuable information (valueless information as well!) and unique ideas. Everyone will be able to find there everything he/she needs in every world language.
Here are some useful creative Youtube-playlists:
-
Perspective Drawing
-
Design Basics
-
Adobe Photoshop Tutorials
-
Adobe Illustrator Tutorials
-
Fashion Illustration
-
Marker Illustrations
3. VIMEO
Vimeo is also a nice knowledge platform.
I use it to learn about creating repeated patterns:
-
Bonnie Christine – Patterns
She also offers great free and paid lessons on her website.
-
Neil Sanders – Patterns, Illustrations
